Okay, I tried importing the same file but at a lower bitrate and it works fine, so it seems to have something to do with the bitrate. But I still have no clue how to fix it.

I have a video file that contains a pre-rendered credits scroll (black with white text) and when I open it in VLC and advance it frame-by-frame, it plays perfectly (each frame advances the credits).

Would copyright protection create blips at random? Also, if I ripped the file from the disc, would it still be copyright protected?

If I just export the whole thing without editing it, there aren’t any blips. It’s just when I start editing it that the blips appear.

Also, this has happened to me with non-Bluray files, just with less frequency.

Every once in a while I’ll be editing a clip and then I’ll notice that the last frame is black. Whenever I try to edit, cut, or delete it (or even stop the cursor on it), Sony Vegas crashes.
