Object Remover Effect Missing

Hello

I have installed FCPX on a new Mac an , when opening older files, I get an “effect missing” error, which traces to an Effect called “Object Remover” (I totally forgot where the effect comes from and google didn’t help).

Any idea how I could locate the effect on my older Mac to reinstall…

How do backups work?

Hello. Sorry for a newbie question.

I am puzzled about backups.

When one of my library went bad (damaged), I was stunned to discover that the corresponding backup folder was … empty. How do backup work?

Is there a way to make sure they are not deleted even after some time?

Hello,

I have a very important library, full of videos, projects that are key to me. I opened it today (first time in months) and I’m greeted by a “The library appears to be damaged and won’t be backed up” message.

I rushed to back ups…but there is nothing there (maybe because it has been few months since I’ve lasted opened that library).
