<p>Manually: slider control and you <span>set a keyframe of zero at the beginning and at the end set it to 24 (but this number changes).</span></p>
<p class=""><span>Expression: no matter what you set the end goal of that slider to, it always finishes at the end of the comp.</span></p>

<p>It would be cool to make it triggered, but just being able to delay the scale animation by frames or seconds would be cool too.</p>

<p>Often times I use a simple expression to either hide/show the subline depending on if there is text present in the subline or not&#8230;easy enough.</p>
<p>That looks something like this:</p>
<pre><p>if (thisComp.layer("subline").text.sourceText.length &gt;0) {</p><p>55</p><p>} else {</p><p>100</p><p>}</p></pre>
