So I ventured into downloading  Studio 17 and it does not accept my Video Card &#8211; AMD Radeon Pro  WX 7100 8GB 256 Bit GDDR5?  I updated Drivers and according to DR Specs it should work?  Any Ideas?</p>

Its there a setting that would allow me to edit closer than a frame to frame distance? if so what is it called please?  I have l looked in the manual, and did not find, but it might&hellip;</p>

So i have to place the play head 1 second before what I want to hear, therefore making a precise cut next to impossible because having to do it on the fly.  I have&hellip;</p>

That limitation only applies to  the old QT framework, where NLEs relied on the system to do the handling  for them. Since then, all major NLEs have already replaced the codec  handling with own routines (or are based on the new AVR in MacOS).</p>
<p>Short version: all codecs which are officially supported by Resolve&hellip;</p>

As long as you stay with Mojave OS you are safe, it is the last OS to support the 32bit codecs.  Apple does not speak to DR on their OS Just FCPX. I have not found any specific yea or nay on DR, yet.</p>

I do most of my work  between MAC and PC  now with HQX codec and before that with Cineform, due to those being the codecs I receive to edit. They email us and say many get hammered on data rates $ and so they are limited to how much they can stream.  Our lessons are free but their streaming is not.</p>

I have discovered that DR16 FREE (latest 16.2.4) has a problem with XAVC I files and stretches the picture progressively more as it get to the bottom of the picture on a MAC + DR16 FREE + XAVC I  = NO NO. </p>
