<p>Thanks for your response. Apologies for not being able to see the image, I&#8217;ve just tried to upload it again but it doesn&#8217;t seem to be working properly.</p>
<p>However, you are correct in that I would like the solid at FRAME 0 to always look for the right edge of a text layer and then for me to be able to assign an X value as the stop value at&hellip;</p>

<p>I want to be able to tell a layer, using some sort of controller, to move to a particular position in a composition as easily as possible. </p>

When working on another job, having been given a project from the same client, the same issue was occurring but slightly different. The project opened but not as fast as it should. There were a couple of comps that have only text in there and these comps would hang and be unworkable. </p>
