I am trying to do a simple conversion of a 4:3 video on Vegas Pro 19 (the very latest version). I have it all set to keep the same aspect ratio and resolutions of the original (720×576). However, the finished product keeps the resolutions but changes the aspect ratio to 5:4.

What’s going on and how do I fix it???

I have some videos I wish to Convert from 29.970 to 25fps. I want to do so without quality loss. I have the latest version of Vegas Pro. I also have Twixtor, if that helps? I also currently have a subscription for Adobe After Effects & Media Encoder (but plan to remove them as I can’t afford it!).

I ended up doing what you say here and created a video with the video and main audio track, and then another with just the Commentary. I’m about to put them together using MKVtoolNix, as it’s a doddle to create MKVs with two tracks. It would be handy if Vegas Pro was able to do the same though?

I’m talking about having it like on a DVD with multiple languages, which is why I said havig my final result having more than one audio track (the final result being what is created after rendering).

That doesn’t work for me, as the result gives me both tracks combined as one?

How do I go about adding an additional Commentary Track to a video in Vegas Pro 19? I’ve done a search here for info but they are all very old and no longer relevant, and the only things I can find via the net just talk about creating voiceovers. I want my final result to have more than one audio track?

I’ve been trying to tweak various videos I have in the old 4:3 format (PAL & NTSC) but the rendered outputs are all elongated a bit more at the sides, making the characters fatter?

It’s happening no matter which process I use. Any suggestions?

I have the latest Studio Driver installed and I have acceleration on under Preferences/Video

The only place I can see it mentioned is under Check for Driver Updates in the Help Menu.

Since upgrading to Vegas 19 the software isn’t utilising my graphic card, and any job that would previously be finished in a couple of hours are now threatening to take days to complete.

Anyone else here have similar issues and does anyone know how to fix it???

Hi there. Just signed up here. I have a problem with Vegas Pro 18, in that File i/o Hardware Decoder is missing? I’ve got an Nvidia Shield RTX 3070 and I did see the setting before? I suspect I do something in Internal but forget what it is?
