I am a music producer and am wondering what the best procedure is to score videos I make in FCP. Totally new to FCP and just spending some time each night trying to learn it.

I need to export an edited video so I can import into Pro Tools or Cubase, then take the music I record there and import it back into FCP. Great image quality is not important…

So I started a whole new project, just to start from scratch. This time I dragged the whole folder I had of raw footage from the iPhone into an open EVENT window. This time, FCP just asked, “Do want to convert this to HDR?” and I said yes. So now my raw footage is there, but can I still choose to use the video options you suggest in some menu…
