<p>It turns out the behavior has nothing to do with the timing problem.   I just noticed it more.</p>
<p>So I put in one JPEG screenshot.   That&#8217;s it.  When initializing the Motion project, the duration was 10 seconds.    The time line ends at 10 seconds.    The &#8220;Show Project Duration&#8221; reads</p>

<p>Quicktime plays  the motion project twice as fast.  I changed the playback speed to one half and it worked fine.  See the attachments to see how the parameters were setup</p>

There was black space around the picture. I watched a video on croping. I cropped the picture. I went to the File Menu and shared to quicktime. The big black spaces were still there. What am I missing?</p>

Then I can multiply them and surround an object with them and it will give the&hellip;</p>
