That same nest is now in two sequences.</p>
<p>You need to break those text layers out of the nest and then copy them. You should then be able to change the text in the new sequence.</p>
<p>You just can&#8217;t expect that the same nest will be different in two sequences.</p>

I just tried it and it worked fine.</p>
<p>Perhaps you are copying an old fashioned title. And actual object that resides in the Project window as an asset the way we used to do it? Instead of making it a source graphic?</p>

Or my memory is simply playing tricks on me. All my old book are packed away at the moment so I can&#8217;t reference any that I worked on for Premiere Pro 1.5. 🙂</p>
<p>It might just be that I moved it there to make it easier to use?</p>

You can use the DNG file format so that changes are contained within the file.</p>

There is either something odd about your Pr installation or possibly the source audio. But my suggestion is to render and replace. If that doesn&#8217;t work, ask to edit it in Audition, then save it back out. Or simply export out of Audition.</p>
<p>Just wondering, does it show up in other projects? If so, perhaps create a new project and import that&hellip;</p>

<p>If you want to screen share I might be able to find the problem looking over your shoulder, so to speak. I can&#8217;t imagine that you don&#8217;t have the necessary codecs.</p>

I don&#8217;t even see the point of 16 bit. After all, 8Khz is not exactly going to make an audiophile happy.</p>
<p>In any case, set the export to:</p>
<p>Waveform Audio</p>
<p>Uncheck the Export Video box so that only the Export Audio is checked</p>

Since you will be messing with the scale of the upper part, put it on the lower track and simply crop the bottom part (the higher track). You can scale up the top part (on the lower track) all you want and the bottom part will not be changed in any way.</p>

Drag the video to the &#8220;New Item&#8221; icon and it will create a proper sequence for you based on the video itself.</p>
<p>When you create the new project, it really doesn&#8217;t matter what the original settings were.</p>

<p>One way would be to simply use markers.</p>
<p>Another way would be to create a 45 second color matte with the name &#8220;45 seconds&#8221; and a second matte with the name &#8220;15 seconds&#8221;. Put those on track one. You can copy/paste the two mattes over and over&hellip;</p>
