<p>I’m building a car body as a learning exercise. Without materials applied it looks fine. To check the surface and reflections I applied a material. I fully expected that there would be a need for tweaks but was shocked at how terrible it looks.</p>
<p>I aligned all the normals but it clearly wasn’t that. There’s something I’ve missed or don’t know… or&hellip;</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve been trying to install a material pack I bought from The Pixel Lab.</p>
<p>In their install video (for R25) they say the pack should show up in the &#8216;Converted&#8217; folder in the asset browser once installed.</p>
<p>The problem is there is no Converted folder in my asset browser. I tried creating a new category with that name but that didn&#8217;t work.</p>

They recommended I open the preferences folder and delete the Maxon C4D R25 user folder, which I did.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll have to re-establish all my prefs etc, but the problem is now definitely resolved.</p>

<p>If I go into 4 view mode I can upload separate images into separate views. I can then hover my cursor over a view and maximise it and it retains its bg image. I can then go back to 4 view mode and hover over a different view and maximise that and still see the correct image.</p>

<p>Not sure what you mean here. I didn&#8217;t load any images into the perspective view. Feels like this is an answer to someone else&#8217;s question that somehow ended up in my thread<span>.</span></p>
<p><span>If there&#8217;s an image in the perspective view then it&#8217;s part of the same problem. I only uploaded images to the front view and the left view.</span></p>

<p>I&#8217;m having trouble with back images in different viewports in C4D.</p>
<p><span>I&#8217;m doing a tut on hard surface modelling and I have an image which contains two separate elevations of the object. In the Tut the image is simply shifted in the second viewport to the correct position.</span></p>
