<p>I&#8217;m trying to run the HPE L&amp;TT v 6.2 diagnostic software on a Mac running Big Sur 11.7.1 but I&#8217;m failing miserably.</p>
<p>This has to be run using Terminal, a tool I have no experience of.</p>
<p>It says to change my working directory to /usr/local/HPE/LTT but I cannot see how I do this?</p>
<p>It also says alternatively, running the command hpe_ltt will&hellip;</p>

<p>Thanks for this advice, very much appreciated.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve found HPE extremely frustrating to deal with, it took months to get my first drive failure resolved and it genuinely feels like they just don&#8217;t care about customers.</p>
<p>I fear I may end up having to take legal action against them this time but I will give them time to come up with a solution&hellip;</p>

<p>The user interface badly needs work and simplification though.</p>

This has us seriously questioning their reliability.</p>
<p>HPE have been a complete nightmare to deal with and their tech support is a complete joke.</p>

<p><span>We are a television production company producing documentaries primarily for the BBC in the UK.</span></p>
<p>In 2016 we invested in a HPE StoreEver LTO-7 Ultrium 15000 Tape Drive to use for backing up our finished documentary projects.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m still testing various LTO software options but I&#8217;m leaning towards Yoyotta at the moment and they were very quick and helpful in responding by e-mail and also above in this forum.</p>
<p>It was sad to hear that Tolis and BruPE is no more as the software worked well for us and the guys were super helpful&hellip;</p>

<p>I&#8217;m looking for a little advice please.</p>
<p><span>I have a HP LTO-7 Ultrium 15000 external tape drive hooked up via a Sonnet Echo Express SEL box containing a ATTO H680 card to a 2013 Mac Pro running Big Sur 11.6.1</span></p>
<p><span>The Sonnet SEL has a TB3 output so I&#8217;m using an Apple TB3 to TB2 adapter to then connect into the Mac Pro.</span></p>

With their help and advice I was able to resolve the issue with HP and they replaced the LTO 7 tape unit.<br />
