i have a plane with a texture using

an alpha channel, the alpha area

is blocking the things behind it,

so the alpha isnt working in a strange way.

its fine in the viewport.

this way i can put buildings on top that are deforming swell

Hi there,

i have a task where i need to transition from a regular flat world to a tiny planet.

i tried using bend deformers but i get wierd distortiones.

has anybody experience with this?

i fixed it myself,

instead of stacking the pages on top of each other, i rotated them slightly in the cloner.

if anyone is interested i uploaded a file here 😃

This might be a general approach question rather then fixing

things.

I put the setup to test and there are clipping Problems.

Its really difficult to make a proper Book with Pages turning.

Thy Mate, i was in vacation so i couldnt reply.

i couldnt find a solution on the web including this site.

I set up a simple mograph based Page turn Animation in Cinema.

But i cant sort out the overlapping issue, a real book is hard to

create of you dont want to create all pages per Hand

Today i found a bounce expression and tried to apply it on already eased position keyframes.

It didnt work, then i testet it on a simple animation without ease. That worked. But as soon as i eased them it stoppen working.

Anybody tried that before?

its a bit of a misunderstanding. i made a video that explains what i am after,

i feed the spline into a matrix and used a plain effector to cut it using visibility

and applied a tracer, then i used an align to spline.

its a bit messy and i would love to get to know a different technique.

i didnt mention that i want to animate one of the objects so the intersection must be dynamic.

i tried to look into expresso and “nearest point on spline ” but with no success

hope we find a way

i need to either get the intersection point of two splines,

or trim the spline with an object, not with the percentage.

the spline isnt closed and its important to keep it that way.

(2 dimensional value)

A = 0,0

B = 500,200

C = 1000, 1000

(example)

0 to 2 seconds

from A to B

4 to 6 seconds

from B to C
