I understand when you import a file you are just creating a link to the original file.

When you drag it over onto the timeline a copy of it is made in the project panel.

My question is what do you do with it after the edit,after you shorten it,color correct and SAVE. If I don’t want to leave it on the timeline can I drag it back to the bin? Do I…

Edit Question

Im new to P.Pro and would like to know if it is possible to edit a clip in P.Pro and save it in a separate folder.

Do all all edits have to be done in a time line? What Id like is to edit a few clips,save in a folder than import them back into the time line to export.

I hope I have made it clear as to what I want to do,,
