Thank you. I reset the Apple Mouse and that seemed to solve the problem. Very alarming. I thought it was an unintended software update. I’m in the middle of a big edit and can’t afford the down time.

Recently I lost several important functions on the timeline. I’m sure a setting got changed but I need to get these back to normal if at all possible.

This just started happening. Now every time I drag a clip to the timeline it becomes unlinked. That is, when I click on the video file it does not also select the associated audio files. Working with MXF multi channel (4) audio.

my preferences settings in adobe Premiere for trim is defaulting to 5 frames and 100 audio units. I’ve reset it at least 100 times. I can’t re set it. It always returns to 5 frames and 100 audio units. How do I permanently reset this?!?

Are the Proxy files the same name as the original RED files (hopefully)? I’m guessing the sound files are in the timeline. So really for final edit the original audio files are OK and in place in the timeline. Are you doing audio mix in the timeline or will you be doing a AUDIO POST PROCESS in addition to your audio edit?
