Haven&#8217;t tried the Media Browser import option since, well, I&#8217;ve never needed it. I&#8217;ve always dragged-and-dropped, or opened files using apple-O. I will test that out and see if there&#8217;s a difference. </p>

<p>As for audio compatibility, the files that were giving me the most issues were stock music files.&hellip;</p>

<p>When it doesn&#8217;t work, everything looks normal: except the audio tracks have no waveforms to them. When I play them, there is no audio at all. </p>
<p>Thoughts?</p>

Have to force quit all the time. </p>
<p></p>
<p>I just figured out it was due to it being connected to my external monitor. Never had that issue with the previous AE build or any version of Premiere. Disconnected it and all good now.</p>
<p>Hoping some Adobe monitor sees this and&hellip;</p>

Not entirely sure how, but this is what I did:</p>
<p>I had previously set up an &#8216;aggregate device&#8217; setting in OS/Setting?Sound. This AD included the external mic.</p>
<p>So in Premiere/Prefs/Audio Hardware, I toggled the input audio from the Ext Mic, to the Aggregate Device; then toggled to anything else, then toggled back to Ext Mic.</p>

I was hoping to avoid re-install. There must be a way to force Mac to allow this to happen. The mic settings were automatically set to the external mic: I selected &#8216;import preferences&#8217; when I installed it. That&#8217;s likely where the problem occured as I never saw a prompt for security&#8230;</p>

Not working at all with 2021. </p>
<p>I&#8217;ve checked my OS Security settings: and only 2019 shows up here.</p>
<p>How do I get CC2021 to show up on the list so that I can select it? Or is there something else I need to do to get the mic to connect?</p>
