I did not get it to work. Is there a way to purge the cache before or after the expression is operated by an other expression?

im am learning since some weeks a little bit expressions and i came to the point to understand and use if/else conditions. Now i was trying to put an if/els into the size of an square shape layer.

I wrote this:

if((SizeX = thisComp.width) < 1000) {
SizeX / 2

Hello,

i have question, which, it hink, is pretty simple. I want to reference in layer B by expression to a simple animation like a scaling in layer A with inPoint at 00:00:00:00. But, layer B has its inPoint at 00:00:00:10 and should start taht animation there which starts in layer A at 00:00:00:00.

How to do that?
