<p></p>
<p>I&#8217;d like to capion a sequence to use as an open caption. There are many technical terms/phrases/spellings that will need to be manually corrected.  Very time consuming.</p>
<p>I have a clean prompter script. In the past I&#8217;ve used software that would use a text script to more accurately build a caption. I don&#8217;t see&hellip;</p>

Not to continue the off topic, but yeah I agree. The &#8220;New&#8221; people  aren&#8217;t required to develop the skills we did.</p>
<p><span>Hmmm. Sounds exactly like what I heard coming into the industry toward the end of the film era about video. I&#8217;m sure the new Film guys heard that, and the digital people will hear in a couple years.</span></p>

Often the hard part is find the corresponding files. Unless they always roll and stop both consistently, the count gets out of sync.</p>

Because I interface with many different systems, I&#8217;ve found this the best practice for me.</p>
<p>Once a project is opened (and Saved) in a newer version it cannot be opened in the older version. </p>
<p><span>Adobe is smart enough to tell you it is changing the version as you open it and saves&hellip;</span></p>

I&#8217;ve used the Edit XML/recompress technique successfully for years and it has saved me (and my clients) a LOT of headaches.</p>

It&#8217;s been a couple years. Does Adobe read this? I have submitted this feature request.</p>
<p>&lt;font face=&#8221;inherit&#8221;&gt;I&#8217;m a freelance editor who constantly runs in to this. And the standard &#8220;Work around it by jumping through hoops&#8221; is not always possible or &lt;/font&gt;practical&lt;font face=&#8221;inherit&#8221;&gt;.&lt;/font&gt;</p>
