Thanks for that info. It looks like I’ll have to think about using my little Win 10 laptop for scans. I have hundreds of old photos to do. Now all I’ve got to do is find the installation CD with the Windows drivers on it.

Thanks again. Cheers.

Epson Scanner making CS2 crash

Hi, I have an Epson V600 scanner connected to my iMac 10.6.8, on which I also have Photoshop CS2 installed. I’m finding that when I scan a photo, then open it in CS2, after a couple of clicks CS2 crashes. I’ve read elsewhere that there is a conflict with Epson drivers, but no help on overcoming this. Maybe somebody here has the answer? Thanks.

That worked! Thanks, Sylvia!

My problem was I couldn’t see the camera on the desktop, so I assumed it hadn’t mounted. But when I started FCPX, and hit Import, a window opened and there was my video.

The video is my mom, who has since passed away, so I’m very grateful for your help.

Thanks again.

It doesn’t seem to want to. I used to transfer footage from the camera’s tape to a Windows PC, but I no longer have one, just a laptop. I have the right cables and all, but the Mac won’t play ball.

Anybody know what I need to do to get this to work?

Thanks.
