<p>So, I would like to create a very simple &#8220;firework rocket&#8221; (basically just a light with a trail) that I can follow from behind the trail then move in 3d space to the side to see it &#8220;explode&#8221; but I am not sure exactly what effect to use or the best way to create it so that, when I am behind the trail, it doesn&#8217;t&hellip;</p>

It creates a mask, as usual, but as you can see the actual cutout is composed of straight lines. At the moment, the only solution I have found has been manually moving it on every frame, as for some reason that resets it to what it should be as&hellip;</p>

I would like to figure out a way for them to maintain the same distance from each other even when the source text gets changed.
