For this project, I am working in FCP 7, but would ask the same if I was in FCP X. When you are finished with your project, and you’ve compressed it so that it is out in InternetLand. . .how do you archive a full res copy of the project?

Thank you both. As a test, I ran a few files through Streamclip, converting them all to Quicktime ProRes 422; put them it into FCP 7, and it “seemed” to work. But, yeah, I’ll be working after hours alot on that office iMac (FCP X) just so I can sleep nights. Thank you again, good to be back here with helpful and learned mentors ~ Keep safe!

I must back up here and say that, though I have FCPX at work, I am working now on a project at home on FCP 7.

I am mixing quicktime files and mp4 files. The .mov is my “base” track, and the mp4s are my cut-ins.
