I&#8217;ve got three video tracks in the FCP X timeline and want to cut back and forth between them.  In FCP7, you could lift a section off your video in track 3 in order to cut to track 2, and so on.  I did my &#8220;lift&#8221; and it filled that track 3 section with a plug.  But it&#8217;s preventing me from seeing track 2.  If I remove the&hellip;</p>

When you are finished with your project, and you&#8217;ve compressed it so that it is out in InternetLand. . .how do you archive a full res copy of the project?</p>

As a test, I ran a few files through Streamclip, converting them all to Quicktime ProRes 422;  put them it into FCP 7, and it &#8220;seemed&#8221; to work.  But, yeah, I&#8217;ll be working after hours alot on that office iMac (FCP X) just so I can sleep nights.   Thank you again, good to be back here with helpful and learned mentors ~  Keep safe!</p>

<p>I am mixing quicktime files and mp4 files.  The .mov is my &#8220;base&#8221; track, and the mp4s are my cut-ins.</p>
<p>However. . .the picture jumps during the transitions.  I thought this might just be in playback, but when I exported the whole file out as&hellip;</p>
