I have had a surprising event with a fully functional 20.2.3 DaVinci install on Mac mini M4pro (sequoia ) that suddenly did not want to launch , so thinking of corruption I updated TO 20.3 same problem… I realized one of my media drive used in a project was off line and that was the culprit !

I guess you are using a coremelt plugin and your caps lock is activated …

You need an fcpxml to achieve the relink, since all these new clips are different from the original shots. if the colourist kept the project he might be able to generate it from the deliver page without any clips … i usually output individual clips with handles just to be safe then generate the new fcpxml related to the rendered clips

I suggest you look at the 10.4.9 update although it has a few minor bugs it has extraordinary work flow for relinking proxies even to third party generated ones! It works great.

View hide audio lanes in View menu can change the presentation, but to minimize the audio lanes to bars , you must have activated a button in the timeline index role pane …
