In Davinci Resolve I can record a live outside Microphone patched into Davinci Resolve with a virtual cable. I’d like to be able to do the same thing in Vegas Pro, but not sure how.

In the media generator window, I can’t figure what the purpose for the animation across from text (see screenshot). When I try to use it, nothing happens. Can someone give me a clue what it’s purpose is? I have no problem using the other animations for the other features in the media generator.

I’m using Vegas pro 19. I have a question on GPU Acceleration settings.

I pre-render in Vegas Pro by selecting and using Shift+B. I’m wondering if there is a way to lock the Pre-render. When I pre-render and see a lag time mistake (I sync text and videos for clients), I edit the mistake but loose the Pre-Render and I have to select the area again, use Shif+B so I can check to see if my edit fixed the sync issue.
