Shutter encoder is one of the best apps on the internet. It is free – but you can contribute – and constantly updated.

I had not thought of it like that.

If I create a video file with the timecode as the picture and the soundtrack is the music, I suppose I have what I need. On top of being simple to do and reliable, most video players like VLC can play at sped up speeds, so I can quite easily do in-sync slow motion shots.
