I’m cutting together a product demo of a software interface. There are a few times when I need to zoom in on part of the interface. The client can only export their interface videos at around 2K. So, whenever I zoom in, the resolution looks bad. Is there a way they can…

I’m exporting AAFs (media in a folder) from Avid, then importing them into Premiere. Upon import, Premiere automatically brings up the interface saying the says the files are offline. I go to “Locate” option and find the file. When I select it, the error message comes up saying the file can’t be linked because it’s format…

Yeah, I’m surprised how little information there is about doing this. Let’s say I exported all the clips from the avid project. Then I export the timeline. Is there a way I could link the timeline to those clips? Anyone done this?

I did some searching and found plenty of guidance on exporting individual sequences from Avid to Premiere, but I need to do the entire project, including the media. I searched the Creative Cow archives, but all that came up were 6 years+. Can anyone tell me how to do this, or point me to an article that explains it?

Thank you,

Thank you for the reply. I guess my question is, why would those hardware specs matter if my computer has shown it can easily play the footage? Why would the program monitor be different than the source monitor?
