It seems as though if the updates are paused then ALL updates are paused. About 3 days after uninstalling that troublesome update, MS installed it again and caused the same problems all over again.  But the good news is that Magix has released an update to VegasPro 17 (Build 455) that fixes everything. Check out:&hellip;</p>

I can move it by adjusting the position values but that is not what the introduction tutorials show. I cannot select the &#8216;line&#8217; shape nor can I adjust the &#8216;area&#8217; shape. If the cursor is supposed to change to allow this, it is not happening. I am sure I&hellip;</p>

The usual question arises in that should I uninstall the previous version or install over top of the 2020.5 version?</p>
