For my use it get the job done;  it’s simple and easy and is LTFS and the price is right. Support folks are responsive as well. </p>
<p>I’ve found BRU support to be mildly helpful when they respond, but unfortunately it’s too sporadic and unpredictable and not an option to wa&hellip;</p>

What LTFS software did you choose for your current LTO back-up needs?</p>
<p>My situation was very similar to yours: I was using BRU Server and had similar computer crash  as yours (unfixable 2009 Mac) and now have a library of almost 200 LTO 5 tapes and not sure which direction to go. </p>

<p>Will BRU ArGest Desktop Edition allow us to import and open our BRU Server library archive file (bru_server_environment-191021) so we can easily browse the contents of the tapes like we did in Server?
