The 8mm cameras were set up to have higher contrast values when viewed on a monitor, making the cameras look higher resolution, but when the signal was actually recorded to tape, the result did not match what could be seen when the camera image was sent straight to a monitor.&hellip;</p>

However, the ability to talk to the non-linear world via RS-422 could prove advantageous for a myriad of reasons when it comes to Tape to Digital processes.</p>

I still l have conversion harness, it just is no longer supported. It just seems odd to not support a physical piece of gear.  I don&#8217;t mind buying something else, some that is in theory much more flexible and updated. However, if I go on Amazon there are all kinds of analog gaming R-Y, B-Y, Y&hellip;</p>

Can you tabulate how many total bits, or disk memory before and then after and see if it has changed any? If it has changed and in theory would be lower than before, then perhaps one could assume the disk has figured out how to ignore the bad spots. If the amount is identical before and after,&hellip;</p>
