I have a slider controlling the z rotation of an object with the expression

time * .2*[thisComp.layer(“spin speed”).effect(“Slider Control”)(“Slider”)]

The first suggestions is almost what I want, except then the particles themselves are moving. I want the particles to remain stationary, but have the wave energy move through them. I don’t know if that makes sense, but I’m not sure that’s actually possible in Particular the more I look around!

Audio Reacting Particle Wave - Trapcode Particular + Sound Keys

I want to make a sea of particles with waves that flow away from the camera to the beat of a song. I have my sea set up with Particular, and I have my beat keyframed with Sound Keys. But I’m having a hard time figuring out my next step. Any ideas?

This is definitely one way to do it, but I was hoping to find a way to do it where I could then snap the clips to the correct timestamps, like when you snap them to coincide with an existing clip, without having to use the playhead to find the correct frame each time. Reuseable sequence 'framework'?

I’m making workout videos, which usually have 45 seconds on/ 15 seconds rest. Is there a way I can have a 45sec/15sec grid that I can easily drop into sequences of different projects so I don’t have to measure them out for each video, and then I can easily adjust the clips to fit inside?
