Solved this by the way… needed to turn off “HDMI Info display”.

This can’t be right…

All output over HDMI to my monitors and external recorders is cropped by almost a full inch (see image).

This problem can be fixed by going to External output -> HDMI output settings and toggling “Record Media during HDMI output” and changing that setting to OFF.

So, now the full frame output comes back, but it turns off…

I film myself for a living, and I need to be able to gauge my exposure without looking 20 feet across the room into the tiny viewfinder for zebra stripes.

On my FS-100, I could see the zebra stripes on my monitor, which I could put anywhere in the room, and it was fantastic.
