Thanks – this is what I am trying to do.

Here I am using a plugin called omino snake to bend and make the comp follow the path – but it will only extend to a certain point (2000px) unfortunately.

I have a comp that is a full screen fractal noise, and I want to transform that comp to follow a path in a ‘swirl’ shape. I have been told that I can ‘use the strokes as a travel matte for the fractal noise’. The stroke is a simple path with a taper and trim path. How do I create a ‘travel matte’?
