I tried everything that you suggested but the audio still sounds weird when I preview the composition, do you think the audio might be fine when I render the comp?

I have added time remapping keyframes to the video layer only as shown in the screenshot, the audio speed changes even when the preview is real time and not dropping below real time.

I am working on a project, I have a separate audio layer (first layer) and a video layer with the audio muted (last layer) and I have applied time remapping to the video layer.
