You had the option of selecting bit depth. DVD and Blu Ray used to go to 24 bit for PCM. This update has changed Media Encoder with presets and little choice. I will try and contact Minnetonka tomorrow. It wouldn’t surprise me if Adobe no longer supports the third party app.

I just updated Premiere Pro this morning and discovered my Minnetonka Dolby Surcode is no longer available for me to use. Also, Premiere wants to use 16 bit audio for everything. I cannot use 24 bit PCM for Blu-ray or DVD exports. They keep trying to make it more simple to use and eliminate any choices. What gives?

I have been using Adobe Encore to create Blu Rays and DVD’s for Clients until two weeks ago. All of a sudden the program will not work because it can’t find the server.
