Yes, I’m aware of what the GH6 can do. As for the GH5 I’m not talking about bit rate for uploading, I’m asking whether or not what the GH5 offers in 4 K is enough for serious color grading. Yes, eventually all decent hybrid cams will have prores or raw.

Do you really have the feeling that 400Mbps is actually enough information for 4K ? It seems to me that since HD on the GH5 is 200 Mbps, 4 K should be around 800Mbps to carry enough information. Is the 4 K mode on the GH5 just a commercial gimmick? Do you think it’s suited for decent color grading?

I see plenty of people buying monitors such as the Andycine 6, Feelworld, etc… to have a bigger screen on set, but if I’m going to shoot mainly inside scenes, why can’t I just use a good computer screen?
