i.e. At least two parties can watch the same QT in sync, can stop, start, reposition, etc for discussion. Either A) we both/all have the same QT locally, or B) it’s hosted somewhere. There seems only a few options out there (e.g.syncplay.pl), but has anyone any recommends? macOS only.

Yes, you are correct in that you can export an h264 as a MOV, but the audio is uncompressed PCM. Which still makes it impossible to do a one-step export for posting.
