Either A) we both/all have the same QT locally, or B) it&#8217;s hosted somewhere.   There seems only a few options out there (e.g.syncplay.pl), but has anyone any recommends?  macOS only.</p>

Hence the clone preparation.  But also, there are multiple offsite copies of the clone &#8216;shuttle&#8217; with my assistant, director and associate, so I feel pretty secure. For safety, I have a clone drive also mounted, with an hourly clone of any changes to the RAID mirrored to the clone.  BUT, despite all the prefs that I can think of being pointed to the RAID, MC constantly just starts playing back off the clone &#8211; I can see the lights on the RAID are silent, and the clone drive is where the&hellip;</p>

I understand its advantages (particularly Raid 10+ etc, and drive health monitoring), but installation is quirky &#8211; it requires T2-equipped Macs to bypass OS security check at startup, documentation and licensing is not clear.  It feels like the old days of the&hellip;</p>

Which still makes it impossible to do a one-step export for posting.</p>

<p>EDIT:  I&#8217;ve finally decided to not send in my old machine for a trade-in, and keep it on Mojave and exclusively for 2019.12.2 Media Composer.    Meanwhile, my new system powers&hellip;</p>

I went for 64GB RAM and the 5600M GPU.   With Premiere, it&#8217;s fantastic &#8211; exporting to h.264 is almost FIVE times faster than my 2015 MBP.   But Media Composer is, frankly, a wall-punching hellscape.   Cannot export to h.264, meaning your postings need to be double transcoded.
