It mostly eats through noise reduction effects like they are not in the timeline. I don&#8217;t think the Ultra is completely necessary for only doing HD work, but in my experience, it&#8217;s always good to buy the best you can afford at the&hellip;</p>

I&#8217;ve seen this in the Resolve forums. The storage never gets disconnected or sleeps, and the media is in the media pool. We just get the red Offline indicator in the timeline. <p>The function is called Scene Detect. When you go to add the clip to the project, instead of importing it directly, look for the scene detect menu choice first in the same area. It will open in a window where the system will automatically go through and guess where the scenes change. There you can adjust the sensitivity and add any edits it&hellip;</p>
