this doesn’t work unfortunately as the effect needs to use the layer mask information to create the outline.
so i need to apply the effects on the shape layer which has the masks, within the comp.

any other solutions i could try?

i have a Alpha PNG logo supplied by client that i want to autotrace to apply an affect (VCP Saber) to outline the image, however the autotrace creates the new layer the dimensions of the image.

so when i apply the affect you can see the edges. (see pics)

hi im wondering if there is an expression to have numbers increment per line, for e.g:

3…etc

perhaps with a slider control so i can increase as desired.
ive had a search but cant find anything suitable
