<p>I didn&#8217;t want to update to 2024 cause most of the plugins I use would be broken. I installed it today in my laptop and YES, this phong style is trully great and fixed the shadowing issue instantly. I don&#8217;t know why they add that now, but happy with that. <br />Also disconnecting the polygon fixed the issue. Thats why when I was enabling the&hellip;</p>

<p>I have one question. I am modelling one kind of complicated model, which has one big n-gon (flat face) and there are too many holes and extrusions in it. Its this very annoying thing that happens some times and the result is that there are some weird shadows on it, like the phong is broken. If I reduce the phong angle, it gets fixed but&hellip;</p>

<p>I want to create a material in Cinema 4D that only the outline is visible. Everything else is tranparent. The effect is the same like selecting the object (orange outline). <p>I prefer physical, but I also learn V-Ray. If you can do both, it will be great.</p>
<p>I dont want to waste too much of your time, so any is also great. </p>
<p>Please apply the material in a sphere, if it is easier to replicate.</p>

I am struggling to create a correct normal map in a V-Ray material.</p>
<p>What I do is: a) I create a V-Ray node material, b) I drag n drop a normal map file, c) I connect the output from the normal map file to the bump map input on my material and d) I change the bump type to Tangent Space.</p>
