As a simple alternative, it is better to use the AlphaPlugins HDR Enhanced plugin to create pseudo-HDR effects on video.

I can suggest a tool to produce HDR video. The AlphaPlugins HDR Enhanced plugin for AfterEffects and PremierePro allows to apply pseudo HDR effect on video and the most pleasant it works in real time even on 4K video
