Does anyone know if it’s possible to export AOVs as PNGs using Arnold in Cinema 4D?

So far seems like they are coming out only as masks, leaving the visible areas white and the invisible ones black (attached).

I would like it to be inverted color-wise and the white area not to be visible (just like PNGs are).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Does anyone know how can I locate the regular Layer and Layer_Color nodes in Arnold Cinema 4D?

I can open such nodes from other people’s files but I can’t seem to create one myself.

I’m using Arnold v3.0.3.1

The reason I’m asking is because I’m looking for ways to control alpha with texture of a certain shader.

Thanks a lot!

Hope you’re doing well!

I’m trying to animate a ball rolling on a surface which would follow a formula spline, however,
in the middle of the curve it intersects with the spline, even though the center spline of the ball as well as the surfaces are identical.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks a million!
