I also feel that AI has shifted what impresses non-artistic people who may be clients. You can make something amazing but because AI can generate something just as — if not more impressive, they may shrug at your work where before, they were impressed.

I am more concerned though with free software also being a threat to longtime…

I tracked a face using Mocha Pro from the Color page of Resolve 18.5.1. If I use Resolve’s native tracker, I can apply an effect on that clip and it shows, eg. the Beauty plug-in onto a face.

So here’s what I did:

I made hairy text that needs to blow in the wind. When I render, it has awkward lines throughout.

I read about increasing the Shadow Map from 250×250 to something higher. That didn’t do it. It’s probably something simple that I am not doing. Any help would be appreciated.
