The histogram in the corner reflects this, but not the one embedded into the curve editor. Messing with some clipping indicators reveals that there is a tiny bit of information still there, but it&#8217;s all&hellip;</p>

<p>I&#8217;m trying to create an effect similar to the attached image as a &#8216;magic&#8217; effect coming from the hands of an actor in some tracked footage. More &#8216;light&#8217; or &#8216;energy&#8217; based effects as we&#8217;re all used to seeing in films these days are simple enough but this has more of a &#8216;paint-like&#8217; quality to it.
