Never used QT player for anything, only editing software to capture.  So thank you for pointing out this feature.  Now I can get back to this project.</p>

I do get video from it played back on my mac monitor but no menu.  Thanks for the suggestion and I&#8217;ll try to get the menu displayed.   My problem is that it stops at the end of each clip and needs to be restarted for the following clip.</p>

I looked for PP6 lists of compatible decks and it wasn&#8217;t on it but there was mention of PP6 being able to work with pro decks so I was hoping to get an affirmation from someone that it might be an option&hellip;</p>

But I have problem tapes that only the DSR 2000 will play and wondered if PP6 works with this deck. </p>

In FCP X, it stops after each clip and the &#8220;import&#8221; button needs to pressed again.  Is there a way to capture the whole tape into a Mac?  Is there a DSR 2000A menu setting to make?</p>

FCP 5 does not recognize it and &#8220;non-controllable device&#8221; is selected. FCP X does not continuously import and stops at the end of each clip so &#8220;import&#8221; has to be pushed constantly. Or is there a setting on the deck that needs to be selected?</p>
