Because of the number of points on the spline, the sides of the extrusion are full of these steps ( most visible once i add materials and lights). How can I smooth these? I’ve tried to simplify the splines but I want to replicate the shape closely and so…

I have a model (extruded from splines) and I want to add a ‘terrazo’ type material to it. But when I do you can only see only see the correct view of the materail from the front and back – the side show a weird strata version of the material.

Have attached photos

How can I have the material on all sides viewed correctly?

Thanks!
