Just press Command (or Control) + N, which brings up the Composition Settings window. Then under the &#8220;Basic&#8221; tab, you&#8217;ll see &#8220;Preset:&#8221; and a drop-down preset selector.  Just choose HD &#8211; 1920&#215;1080 &#8211; 24 fps.</p>

For graphics and storage I&#8217;m now a fan of NOT putting it all into one box (your iMac). One-box solutions are hard to update and costly.</p>
