i reversed the vertices in illustrator as told AND set the first vertex manually in AE, this fixed it for me! had the same issue of a flipping shape with a more complicated path.

hi there,

is there a way to “merge” applied effects like wave warp to a shape layer like it is in adobe illustrator? so that i get an animated path and not a distorted shape?

i want to render it as a json via Lottie extension and the applied effects keep disappearing.
