Eric, Have you tried restarting your mac in “Command R” mode, going to Terminal and typing in “csrutil disable”. Then restarting on your boot drive normally and putting your unwanted files in the trash and deleting them? That should make the trash work. I’m afraid you have revealed one of the many faults in PP which is the most crashy and unreliable editing program on the market today. I don’t suffer this particular problem of yours and wish I could help. Have you tried the Adobe tech support line – 800 833 6687.
