<p>What you suggested sounds like it &#8220;probably&#8221; would have done the trick. I&#8217;m on the road for a while, and before I left, I decided to just upgrade and future proof things, so I&#8217;ll be ok.<br />When I do get home, would be interesting to experiment. If I can find the time to do that, I will certainly let you&hellip;</p>

I&#8217;m using the most recent version of PPro (Jan 2025), but I have an older version of Boris Continuum Effects, version 14 released in 2021. Has anyone had success using a setup like this? I only ask because my PPro wouldn&#8217;t load anymore after I installed the Boris effects, under Windows 10. I uninstalled and reinstalled both, but no luck. Been&hellip;</p>

I wanted to make the final decision on how many, and what types of drives to use in this new build.<br />I like to keep all my archived stuff available and &#8220;in the box,&#8221; so that I can access it right away without digging through external drives.<br />Of course I always have backups on external drives in two other separate&hellip;</p>
