And true, it should have just automatically updated when I opened AE, which was yes, strange that it hadn&#8217;t. It used to be a quick fix. I have several Photoshop files that make up one comp in After Effects. I recently did some work on one of those files back in Photoshop, changing it, saved it, but when I go back into After Effects &#8211; I assumed that comp now (or PS file) would be &#8216;missing&#8217; or in&hellip;</p>

Plus, I&#8217;ll check the report and hopefully see what&#8217;s crashing it at the very last minute&#8230; That&#8217;s where I have a Trapcode particle effect, but its so minimal. </p>

<p>BUT, if I may&#8230; I noticed that the video playback is a little dark in the beginning for some reason.  Is there a tweek to the software videolan?  Its not dark on the AE file, so just wondering&#8230;</p>

The renders are taking 8-9hours for a small 3 minute animation &#8211; and I&#8217;m still trying to resolve the black screen video problem, but that&#8217;s another post and problem, but I need&hellip;</p>

One render took over nine hours and ended up failing (using the new HEVC settings). But all the others, even trying cutting the renders in half, I still get a black screen playback but audio is fine. When sliders are adjusted, even slightly, it brings back the black background. Almost impossible. Hopefully I haven&#8217;t wasted my&hellip;</p>

Though Unmult removes the black background easily, the foreground object (animal) becomes almost transparent and you can see through it. How do I fix this? I think its removing black portions perhaps from the animal too? Green screen removals with Keylight works perfectly all the&hellip;</p>

Came out great (and great tut!) Ball spins like an energy ball. Cool. Comp is 1:45 sec long, but at the 1:00 mark, for some reason, it freezes, and stops spinning. There is a ring of fire attached to it though that keeps spinning, but the center matter stops spinning rights at that point. I can&#8217;t&hellip;</p>
