<p>So the thing to watch out for then is to make sure the layer name of the pre-comp doesn&#8217;t get changed in the master, right? And that if the multiple copies of the same pre-comp are offset only the first one in the hierarchy will be referenced.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m trying to link attributes within a variety of pre-comps to a keyframed master control in a master comp. However with a simple pick whip, the values within each comp are delayed by the amount they are offset in the compile comp, which does make logical sense but is not the desired result. </p>

<p>I&#8217;m trying to figure out an expression for having a spotlight that is parented to 3d object &#8220;A&#8221; always point to 3d Object &#8220;B&#8221;. I thought I might be able to achieve this through using a toWorld expression on its point of interest, but because it is parented this doesn&#8217;t work for me. Any ideas how to make the light&#8217;s Point of Interest tight&hellip;</p>
