<p>I watched your vid. In fact, you are dragging the effect onto the &#8216;entire clip&#8217; and and so the effect/transiton is applied to both ends simultaneously, this is how FCPX functions. To get the desired result you&#8217;re looking for, select either the head or tail of your clip and then double-click your effect/transition, in this case the dissolve,&hellip;</p>
